First recorded snowboard descent down Mount Taylor by Rob Craft and Kai Spencer out of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The journey started with a few rough occurrences, including a 3-mile hike to the Gooseberry trailhead due to car troubles. After reaching the trailhead, a 2.5-mile post-holing accent to the saddle before the snow began to clear up. The snowboard descent took about 15 minutes, with the first 3 being in beautiful above-tree-line conditions of about 2 feet of snow. Once we began to dip back into the tree line, exposed cover slowed our travel, yet we still made it back to the trailhead where we then hitchhiked back to the vehicle.
